The red dots represent the proposed sites for the turbines. The 2 1/2 miles of roads, sub stations and support buildings have not been marked on this plan.
As can be seen, there will be 5 turbines within the Denshaw valley, and a further. 2 over the tops towards Castleshaw.
This means that some or all of the turbines will be viewable from all sides of the pennines and from the centres of Delph and Denshaw.
It is difficult without a more sophisticated study to establish which other villages will be directly affected.
On a clear day you will be able to see the turbines from up to 40 miles away.
